We always face the problem of battery backup especially when we are on outing. Charging the phone is one of the complex problems faced by us. But do you ever give it a thought what if your battery regains its life in merely 20 seconds? Amazed! We too felt the same thing when we discovered that a teen has managed to make this dream come true. She is none other than the very talented ‘Eesha Khare’. An Indo-American girl has recently developed a tiny device that can charge your mobile phone’s battery in 20 to 30 seconds.

Super Capacitor

Invention of a teenager

The 18-year old teen, launched this device in the recently held Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix. Khare denoted her tiny device as super-capacitor that can even fit inside the phone’s battery very easily. The girl received a young scientist award along with the prize worth $50,000 as a token of appreciation for creating the marvelous device. The rectangular device has the capacity to charge the phone in 20 seconds. It is one of the achievements in the history as this would be the first device ever invented by a young girl to help people in charging their phones. When we asked Eesha about her inspiration, she revealed that she took her phone as an inspiration which usually dies after using it for some time.

Device that can charge your phone in 20 seconds

A student of nano-chemistry is heading towards Harvard to make a bright future. She said very soon she will create a boon in the tech world. According to Intel, Khare is among the 1,500 researchers from more than 70 countries who came there to participate. Khare said that her super-capacitor has the super power that can last about 10,000 charge-recharge cycles. Usually a normal battery possesses the power up to 1,000 power cycles. That is her device contains the power which is ten times the amount of a regular battery.

Regrettably the device has only been tested on an LED (Light Emitting Diodes) light. But Khare claimed that very soon the device will support the other devices like mobile phones, cars, batteries and other chargeable items. So there is nothing to worry about.

When asked what she would do with the money she received from the foundation, she graciously remarked that she will first pay her college fee with the amount and the rest she would spend in inventing the other devices for achieving the higher recognition.

Now, we all will soon get the device at affordable price, which can even help us out in recharging our cell phones with in a time frame of 20 to 30 seconds.
